Fiona McRaith serves as Director of The Climate Pledge at Global Optimism. The Climate Pledge, co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism, unites more than 700 companies committed to reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 — a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement. In this role, Fiona works with signatories to identify obstacles on the path to net zero, incubate solutions, and drive joint action.
Before joining Global Optimism, Fiona helped build the Bezos Earth Fund during its foundational years. In that time, the philanthropy deployed over $2 billion in grants. She has previously held roles at the World Resources Institute, the White House, Alliance for the Great Lakes, and GoodPower (previously Alliance for Climate Education).
Fiona serves on the Board of Directors of Counterpart International and is a Strategic Advisor to Nature is Nonpartisan. She holds a B.A. in International Development and Environment from McGill University.
