Freya was previously part of The Climate Pledge team at Global Optimism and helped build the corporate climate initiative from its inception. Prior to joining Global Optimism, Freya spent time at UN Climate Change as part of the Loss and Damage team and worked with the Natural Environment Research Council investigating the response of tropical forests to climate change.
Freya holds a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography from the University of Exeter and an MSc by Research in Geography on earth system modelling. Her masters research,
published in Nature Communications, developed a new formulation for modelling and understanding plant respiration.
